A heartbroken man whose wife is terminally ill has said she wants to sleep with someone else.

The man shared his dilemma on Reddit and later deleted the post, but someone had already captured a screenshot.

"I can’t have this tied to my main (account), but I really need to say something about it."

The guy then disclosed that doctors had given his wife nine months to live, and she asked for an unusual favour.

"My wife is projected to live at most nine months, and I am destroyed. We've been together for a decade.

I don’t remember life without her and don’t know what to do when she's gone."

The anonymous Reddit user then said that he was striving to make her last days tremendous and give her whatever wish she wanted.

He narrated how his wife told him one of the last things she wanted was to bed one of her former boyfriends.

"I was shocked and asked why she wanted that. She thinks her most physically compatible and satisfying lover is him.

So now I'm left with this: deny my dying wife a wish for my ego or let her sleep with another man she feels was better.”

He admitted feeling angry and betrayed by the request, saying she put him in a position where he had to say yes since she was dying.

“I'm so hurt that the experience with an ex was apparently so good that she needs to do it once before she dies.”
