A resident of Green Tree in Pennsylvania, USA, John Petrovich, shared an experience that unfolded after he uttered a single Hail Mary prayer during his routine jog.

John goes jogging in a new neighbourhood

The incident has left Petrovich in awe and sparked a renewed sense of faith and wonder in those who have heard his story.

The surprising account appeared during Father Joe Freedy's appearance in The Rosary Series: Mysteries of the Rosary, where Petrovich revealed his life-altering encounter.

According to Petrovich, he noticed an ambulance parked in someone's driveway while jogging in an unfamiliar neighbourhood one day.

Uncertain of what was happening, he continued his jog but decided to say a Hail Mary prayer, but he did not attach much significance to this spontaneous act of prayer at the time.

A week later, Petrovich returned to the same neighbourhood for another jog, and it was during this run that he heard a woman calling out to him.

How did John save the woman's life?

Curious, he stopped, and the woman proceeded to recount an astonishing and miraculous event.

"You saved my life,' the woman claimed

Bewildered, Petrovich asked how he could have possibly saved her life when they were strangers, and in response, the woman recounted her near-death experience.

She explained:

"Last week, I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, and I was dying. I knew I was dying, and Jesus appeared to me. He held out His hand, and your face was on the palm of His hand. And Jesus said, 'you were going to die, but because of the prayer of this man, you're going to live.'"

Testimony changes John's prayer life

Petrovich was left profoundly moved and stunned by the woman's revelation. He described the experience as a jolt to not only his prayer life but also to the faith of his entire family.

"What a jolt that was for not only my prayer life but my family's prayer life," Petrovich remarked.

"Our outlook on prayer itself, and especially prayers of intercession. When someone asks you to pray for them, or you volunteer to pray for somebody, you never know—you never expect how it's going to work out, because in the end, it's always God's will."

Petrovich emphasised the importance of prayer and the significance of seeking intercession through the Blessed Mother.

"Because as we all know, she is the direct line of intercession to her Son, Jesus Christ, in answering all prayers for everyone," he said.

Man dies after posting about how death is close

In a separate story, a Zambian versatile and charismatic television presenter died less than two months after seemingly predicting his death on Facebook.

Nathan Mbawa wrote on his Facebook on December 23, 2022, that the sad truth is one day, the world will wake up without him or any other person in it.

Mbawa, who doubles up as a musician, asked his followers to responsibly enjoy the festive season, keeping in mind that it was by the mercy of God they lived that far.

"Sad truth!! One day the world will wake up without you in it!! Like it or not, that day will come. And now the festive season is here once more, whatever you do! Enjoy yourself knowing that we are at the mercy of God. Enjoy yourself responsibly. Let 2023 morning rise with you in it," shared Mbawa.
