"God! I have been through a lot the whole of last year, and that's when I was ready for anything. Why now? Ujust one night. I am not at peace I am not!! Go well my toto ❤️," she wrote in a post laden with grief and despair.

This devastating news comes shortly after she was subjected to online trolling by a Nairobi businessman.

The community has rallied around Sufurias, offering comfort and support during this dark hour.

Many have expressed their condolences and shared messages of solidarity with the grieving mother.

Patron's business promoted by prominent Kenyans

It all started when Dolly Patron commented on entrepreneur Gibson Murage Gitonga's post, trying to market her nonstick sufurias.

Instead of skipping the comment or replying in kind, Gitonga gave a savage response that did not go over well with his followers.

The incident shared by lawyer Wahome Thuku quickly went viral, with many condemning Gitonga's behaviour.

"Given your public status now, it's very important to get the message first before typing a response," the lawyer advised.

As it turns out, that was the jolt her business needed as members of the public and prominent personalities rallied behind her.

Celebrities supported Dolly's business

TUKO.co.ke previously reported that among those who supported her was digital strategist Dennis Itumbi, who ordered some of Dolly's sufurias.

"Making mistakes, some grave, is part of the learning process in these streets. Learn, internalize the lessons and keep going," Itumbi wrote.

Social media influencer Karangu Muraya offered to post for her on his page for free three times.

Dolly will also meet Kikuyu comedian Guka wa Nairobi Muthee Kiengei on Sunday.
