Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) boss Ezekiel Mutua has celebrated his initial earnings from TikTok.
The advocate for clean content shared his excitement publicly.
On his social media, he posted a snapshot indicating a transaction of KSh 1,374 from TikTok to his M-Pesa account.

Mutua’s statement alongside the image declared the start of his mission to cleanse the platform of indecent material, especially those targeting the youth.

He expressed his commitment to proving that one can succeed on TikTok with decent content.
"At exactly 10:20pm today, I made my first withdrawal from TikTok through my PayPal account. The journey towards sanitising TikTok through clean content has begun in earnest. I hope to serve as an example that content doesn't have to be dirty to sell. One day, I will post a million here through clean and useful content on TikTok," he wrote.
Ezekiel Mutua calls out Pastor Kanyari
A week ago, Mutua criticised Pastor Victor Kanyari following his controversial actions and statements on TikTok.
He denounced Kanyari's behaviour as a travesty of religious faith and pledged to take measures to halt his actions.
Mutua argued that figures like Kanyari, who have strayed from their roles as moral guides, contribute to the moral drift among the youth.
He also committed to contacting the appropriate authorities to explore possible actions against the preacher.
Mutua forgives Pastor Kanyari
On Friday, May 24, Mutua met with Kanyari for a truce.
Kanyari was emotional and knelt for Ezekiel to place his hands on his head and pray for him.
The controversial preacher noted that he was shocked when he heard that Mutua was looking for him.
Kanyari said he contacted his fellow pastors to give him with Mutua's number.
