In an inspiring achievement, Gladys Kiptoo, a dedicated Kenyan woman serving in the United States military, has successfully graduated from the prestigious Army Flight Surgeon Course.

Kiptoo's accomplishment was marked in a ceremony where she proudly received her wings, symbolising her new role as an Army Aviation Medicine Nurse Practitioner.

In a heartfelt message shared on her social media, Kiptoo expressed her joy and gratitude:

"I graduated from Army Flight Surgeon course today and got my wings! I am now an Army Aviation medicine Nurse Practitioner!" she wrote.
"It has been a journey to get here, and my resilience was put to test by some of the training in the course," added the army officer.

She acknowledged the significant support from her leadership and thanked them for trusting her to provide medical care within the aviation community.

"Looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that come with this new role," she added.

Kiptoo grateful for support she received

Kiptoo also conveyed deep appreciation for her family's unwavering support.
