Citizen TV journalist Lulu Hassan has donated KSh 200,000 to a self-help women's group in Shanzu, Mombasa County.

Speaking during an event, the news anchor said she had been told the group was doing a good job.

She stated it was a small contribution and also disclaimed she is not a politician.

"Shanzu Mums, I have been told you are doing good work. In the spirit of helping you, I decided to offer a small donation. It's not much. The last disclaimer is that I am not a politician. It's these small businesses that help us. I decided to help my mums so they could inject my donation into their table banking...... I have handed KSh 200,000 to the chair lady," she announced, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

The media personality urged them to make good use of the donation.

"To the chairlady, I urge you to make good use of the money. Help other women and ensure it grows," Lulu added.

The video was shared on TikTok by One GB Katana.

Lulu Hassan visits childhood friend at his home

Previously, the media personality made a heartwarming visit to her long-time friend from her younger years, and they spent cherished time together.

She posted a video on social media capturing these delightful moments.

In the clip, Lulu could be seen enjoying the company of her friend at his farm, where he, clad in a pink T-shirt, radiates joy.

He warmly welcomed his famed friend by picking mangoes from the tree to share with her.

The clip clearly showed Lulu’s excitement during the visit.
