Kenyans have learnt with sadness that Bwire Ndubi, who starred in Citizen TV's Sultana series, has died.
Just a few days ago, Bwire took to Instagram and shared a video of herself aboard a flight to Turkey with her dear mother, who had escorted her.
When they arrived in Turkey, Bwire was seen settled at the hospital, where she shared that her doctor had started attending to her.

"Dear humans, thank you so much for making this possible for me and for giving me a fighting chance. Iam choosing to focus on the good. The doctors are working out my treatment plans; Iam going through a series of tests," she said.
"We pulled this move as it was smarter for us to start treatment while fundraisers were going on because sickness does not wait for anyone. Again, I would love to thank you for your utmost support. I love you all, please keep giving," she posted.
In the hospital, Bwire's mum was seen dancing with another woman as the doctors started treating her.
When the story was shared on TUKO.co.ke, Kenyans were saddened by the turn of events.

The family announced that she passed on while receiving treatment in Turkey.
Dida was a beloved actress and, in a touching post after travelling to Turkey for treatment, thanked Kenyans.
She thanked Kenyans in the touching video for supporting her financially as she sought treatment abroad.
