Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Too said Kiplagat was heading home to prepare before he travelled.
"He was to start a job at Kaimosi Vocational Training Centre in Vihiga county in a few days. When I tried to reach him, and he was not picking up the call, I was worried because he was not the kind of person who was dodgy. I even tracked his phone later and saw the device was within town, but there was not much of a lead," he said.
According to a post by Lemiso Media House, the 28-year-old was found dead at a lodge in Senior (Maili Nne), just behind Khetias Supermarket, Eldoret City.
Kiplagat shared the family was carrying out a postmortem on his brother to uncover more information about their kin.
"We have a lot of questions about the death," he painfully shared.
Several social media users shared emotional messages following the sad news of Kiplagat.

The deceased was said to have received threats over a mysterious KSh 286 million tender at the Exchequer, where he worked until his death.
