Like many shattered parents, she struggled to come to terms with the aftermath of the horrible accident.

"I asked whether they had seen Success, and they said they had seen him. They said he had fainted and was taken by a teacher who put him in a car and rushed him to hospital. We are asking if there is anyone who has Success to bring him kindly," she emotionally told Citizen TV Kenya as her voice broke.

Success's uncle expresses optimism

Success's uncle, Charles Njoroge, echoed Wangu's words and urged anyone who knew the little boy's whereabouts to share the information with them.

"We are optimistic that Success will show up at the homestead. If there is anyone who is with or has seen Success, please tell us where he is so that we may go for him or bring him to us," Njoroge said.
