The tent was full of people who were devastated at the loss of the lives of the young kids, with tears freely flowing down their cheeks.
A man identified the victims by their names and described them in a few words, which cut deep into the hearts of the guests.
Some could not help but wail, expressing their deep grief following the painful death of the students.
The scene moved several Kenyans as they headed to the comment section to share their views.
Sukus Sukus:
"Dear Lord, we can not comprehend fully the pain of the parents and immediate families. We can only imagine it. But you, whose consoling power extends all over the universe, purpose to accompany each parent at this moment of excruciating pain.
Lord, that isn't much to ask from you, whose power is limitless. We pray to the Lord for them. Lord, hear us."
Vivvianne Otieno Ndegwa:
"These children did not have to die, no, not at all."
Geoffrey Koech:
"God grant the affected families the fortitude to bear the loss and the peace that surpasses human understanding."
Vicky Dominic:
"The pain is not even losing the kids but the painful death they underwent. Imagine trying to save your life in vain with doors locked from the outside. Sad. May the affected families find peace."
Anthony Makau:
"The last enemy to be destroyed is death. May the families who have lost their dear children find comfort in God."
In another story, Robinson Theuri, one of the missing Endarasha Academy students, was confirmed dead.
The Grade 6 pupil was confirmed as one of the 21 victims who tragically lost their lives in the devastating fire.
While the news brought closure to the family, it brought a tragic ending to their hopes of finding him alive.
