A young man from Kisumu named Hillary Odhiambo recently experienced an unexpected surge of attention from women after he joked about winning a KSh 4.5 million jackpot.
The buzz started when a Facebook post reported that a man with the same name had won the amount after correctly predicting 13 games.
The post showed the supposed winner’s new house and narrated how the jackpot had changed his life.

"Hillary Odhiambo from Kisumu Nyahera predicted 13 correct games and won a SportPesa jackpot of KSh 4.5 million after tax deduction one year ago. The father of two decided to build this beautiful home. Luck has changed his storyline," read the post.
Odhiambo, spotting the similarity in names, playfully commented on the post, writing, "Yes, that's my house."
Little did he know that this harmless joke would turn into a magnet for messages from women.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Odhiambo revealed:
"Since I joked in the comment section that I was the one, ladies have been flooding my inbox. Some say your house is good. Some ask if I am married or even if I'm looking for a second wife. Some even call me handsome."
Odhiambo clarified that he is not the man who won the jackpot but was amused by the attention he received after his playful comment.
As reported earlier, Bob Muriuki, the Kenyan man who won KSh 109 million, received endless love requests from interested women.
The multimillionaire was interviewed on the Oga Obinna show, and the comments section was filled with messages from women fronting themselves as potential partners.
While the women’s attention was already on Muriuki, his comments about his relationship status even attracted more attention.
