A Kenyan man who won millions has disclosed the amount he will pay as tax.

Bob Muriuki bagged a life-transforming sum of KSh 109, 299, 917 jackpot.

"I could not believe it. I was so excited. I was in the house waiting for the last bet because I knew most bets ended at midnight.

It was like a sugar rush when I saw I had won all and checked the total balance after midnight.”

Muriuki said that he staked KSh 37.

"Betting is a science. Just check the probabilities, and if they are high, take the risk. He warned against greed while betting, saying he was not in a good position financially.

Bob Muriuki's plan after KSh 109m jackpot win

Muriuki said he had a rough idea of what he wanted to do with the money.

Speaking to Oga Obinna, Muriuki said he does not own a car and has no plans to get one soon.

“I don’t have a car, and I don’t want to rush into buying things to have a clear mind. But I will get one before December,” he said.
“You can chill inside a Mercedes Benz as you get a clear mind," Obinna responded.

The host was stunned by the tax Muriuki paid, amounting to around KSh 22 million.

“The total net amount is KSh 109 million, but the gross is KSh 87 million. The remaining is for Zakayo,” he said.

Obinna offered to show Muriuki around the city for KSh 1 million.

“I will take you to the best restaurants and show you where to party,” he said.

He asked Muriuki where he shaves, and the millionaire said he does it in the hood.

“You cannot shave in the hood; you are a millionaire. My barber does house calls for KSh 4,000. He comes with a woman who massages you so you can release stress.”

In other news, Samuel Abisai's fortunes changed when he won KSh 221 million in the SportPesa mega jackpot.

The entrepreneur recounted what happened after his historic winnings, forcing him to change his number.

Abisai also spoke about his investments and responded to doubts that the money was real.
