Milicent Omanga Throws Lavish Farewell Party For Son Wayne

Former nominated senator Millicent Omanga has thrown a luxe party for her son Wayne.

Videos shared by Millicent Chebby on her Instagram stories gave Kenyans a glimpse of Omanga's backyard.

Is Omanga's son travelling abroad?

The proud mum invited her close friends and family to bid her son goodbye as he is set to pursue his studies abroad.

At some point, the handsome Wayne was seen on his knees with his parents by his side and a preacher praying for him.

Terence Creative was the event's MC, and he and his wife wished the young man well on his new path.

A video of Wayne dancing at his party showed him in a jovial mood.

In her speech to Wayne, Chebby urged the young man to work hard and be an example to his little sister. She said:

"A very good friend of Omanga since 2009. I saw Wayne when he was so young. Not every kid you give birth to ends up be an amazing kid but you have been that kid. Some people spend money and they cry every time. Your parents, Milly ni mtu wa standadrd. So you go out there may God guide you."

Terence urged the young man to keep his hardworking spirit while studying abroad. He said:

"All of us have some history with education. Your parents have been committed. To get parents who have decided to use their cash to take you through school and still want the best for you is not easy. We have a lot of irresponsible parents, but you have parents who have sacrificed for you to be where you are. Pursue your education."

When did Omanga's son graduate?

In June, the former nominated senator was over the moon as her handsome son Wayne graduated from the posh Brookhouse school.

Her ex-husband and daughter accompanied Omanga, who bought a posh Range Rover and shared the photos online.

They posed for lovely family photos at the school as they celebrated the young man who made them proud.
