He questioned how police officers wanted him to walk, presumably referring to his vision-related issues.

The man insisted that the officers must hand over the spectacles even as a police officer hanging on a police van talked back at him.

As the vehicle drove off, he jumped into it, vowing to ensure he got his visual aids back.

"If someone wants to kill me, let them kill me, but give me my glasses. How do you expect me to walk? Give me my glasses. Give me my glasses, and tell me where I was wearing them. We're going with your car," the man shouted.

Mombasa man bravely confronts traffic police

In another confrontation between a police officer and a civilian, a Mombasa man courageously confronted a traffic officer over allegations of soliciting bribes from public service vehicle operators.

In a viral video, an elderly man dressed in a blue Kaunda suit is seen stepping out of a vehicle as he approaches the traffic officer.

The man then pointed at the officer, warning that he would have recorded a video of his actions if he had attempted to solicit a bribe from the matatu he was standing beside.

The officer, unfazed, walked past the man and proceeded to the other side of the matatu, instructing the driver to move the vehicle.

The man then called out traffic officers, accusing them of demanding bribes from public service vehicle drivers.
