Viral This Week: Family Mourns Man Who Died On Thika Road, Koin Kores Claims Mzungu Ruined His Life

In the second week of September 2024, several families were worried about their children who went missing despite being rescued from the Hillside Endarasha inferno.

Model Koin Kores also shared his saddening encounter with an elderly Mzungu woman that cost him his health.

1. Family mourns man who died in Thika Road accident

Family and friends struggled to come to terms with the loss of their young son, Brian Mwangi, who died when returning home from church, and requested prayers from Kenyans.

Mwangi died on September 8, through a grisly road accident on Thika Road, and his sudden death caught many by surprise.

The 21-year-old was on his way home from doing a setup in church when their Range Rover rammed into a stationary truck.

2. Koin Kores claims elderly mzungu lady ruined him

All is not well with popular model Emmanuel Koin Kores after he accepted a drink from an elderly Mzungu lady at her house, only to find out that she was doing something suspicious.

He recalled seeing her secretly adding a white substance to the drink, which raised the curiosity of the street model.

Kores from Kajiado county said that because of the drink, his relationship with the lady ended, but he was left in a terrible health state.

3. Rescued Hillside Endarasha boy reported missing

Elsewhere, Robinson Theuri should be among the students accounted for after the Hillside Endarasha Academy fire, but he's not.

Although Theuri was safely evacuated from the burning dormitory, the 11-year-old was on the list of missing students.

Robinson's disappearance left more questions than answers, even as the whereabouts of other missing pupils remained unknown.

4. Kenyan father says one son is missing after inferno

Loving dad John Mwangi also shared his bitter-sweet story as he joined other parents to identify their kin at the Naromoru Level 4 Hospital.

He noted he was a father of two boys who attended Hillside Endarasha Academy, and one was safe at home.

The other was not among the admitted or confirmed fatalities, hence his decision to go to the hospital for DNA sampling.

5. Pebbels Academy shares Patty's last moments

Patrick Bahati, aka Patty, was a pupil at Pebbles Academy, but he died after participating in a cross-country event there.

According to the school, they had communicated to the parents that they would be having a cross-country event, and Patty was glad to participate.

He was exempted from running, so he walked, but when returning, he said he was tired, and after being put in a van, he slipped into unconsciousness and died at Avenue Hospital. Over one week later, questions still abound about his sudden demise.

Another family seeking missing Endarasha schoolboy

In another story, Travis Kariuki, a 13-year-old boy from Hillside Endarasha Academy, went missing on the day the school dormitory went up in flames, and his family is beside themselves with grief.

According to his aunt Anne, when the news broke, she sent her father and brother to go and look for him, and they learnt that he made it outside the gate but later disappeared.

The young boy lost both his parents years back, and families from both sides started caring for him, and so far, they have shared that they had not been given any information by the school or the police.
